2. Easy to setup as it requires less infrastructure
3. Easy to identify application bottlenecks and tune it on the scaled environment

Disadvantages

1. It’s difficult to find out performance issues past the scaled environment
2. Application tolerance and capacity is reduced on scaled environment and more performance issues are revealed in production
